We promised that the year 2011 was going to be a colossal year in terms of brand progression and recognition and we have delivered.
The first step towards achieving this was exploring Product/Brand placement. Brand placement is paid exposure of the brand on television shows, in films or on video games which aims to influence the audience members without necessarily identifying the sponsors. The sole purpose of this is to increase brand awareness and promote familiarity and demand for the product.
We were offered the opportunity to place our brand in one of the teen romantic comedies of 2011 “Chalet Girl” which was released in the U.K. in March. You can watch the trailer on YouTube and catch a glimpse of what to expect.
We believe this effort will not only take Chicken Cottage to new heights of brand recognition but will also have a significant effect on the demand of Chicken Cottage food and encourage new franchisees to join us.
